English water stones - a sprinkling of water allows the soft abrasive to form a slurry which produces an exceptionally keen edge to the tool.

Dressing stones - for dressing diamond wheels and vitrified bonded grinding wheels.
Sticks & files - for fettling and polishing. Round-edge slip stones for the maintenance of a keen edge on woodcarving tools.
Tiler's stones - durable abrasive block for shaping and filing down ceramic tiles.

Rubbing blocks - for dressing concrete, floors, stonework, etc.
