Cutting and Sanding Discs

Available in a range of diameters and constructed in both open mesh and heavy duty these unique cutting and sanding discs are suitable for use with most makes of electric drills used by the handy man.

These multi purpose tools are ideal for cutting ceramic tiles, steel, copper piping, bricks and non-ferrous metals. In addition it will cut out plastic shapes in laminate plastic without chipping and give perfect results when cutting car body work and glass fibre boat panels etc.

When used as a sanding disc it is possible to remove rust, paint, and strip varnished surfaces, as well as preparing metal surfaces such as window frames and car bodies prior to painting. The disc can also be used to sharpen garden tools and similar objects.

For best results, the cutting or sanding disc should be used with a rubber backing pad and arbor, which we can supply. Available in 127mm and 178mm, the discs must not be used in excess of 3200 rpm and you should always wear appropriate safety clothes such as goggles and dust masks for protection.
