Spydoflex Discs

Spydoflex is an amazing concept in the field of surface preparation. The open non-woven construction impregnated with Silicon Carbide grain allows for the fast efficient removal of surface contaminants, without gouging to provide a superior finish.

The product which is available as plain discs, spindle mounted for use in a chuck, and with type 27 depressed centre plastic backs for use on angle grinders will quickly remove rust, paint and other surface coatings without leaving excessive scratch marks allowing the surface to be painted without addition fine sanding.

The flexibility of the spydoflex disc means that in most cases, corners and recesses can be accessed without the need for additional tools, and the soft construction will not distort the basic shape.

The spydoflex disc which is available in all standard sizes, comes in two grades; the standard black format which is suitable for most applications, and in blue, which has extra rigidity for corner work extra. When using the product safety wear should always be worn including goggles and dust masks suitable to the operation.
